Senior Integration Engineer (SAP S/4 & BTP)

About the role

The Senior Integration Engineer will design, implement and maintain technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and various satellite applications. You will ensure data consistency, system interoperability and contribute to the overall stability of the landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Implement integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Transport Management, CloudALM).
• Design, configure and customize APIs, connectors and integration services on SAP BTP.
• Analyse integration requirements, define strategies and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain system reliability.
• Stay up‑to‑date with SAP BTP features, including embedded AI, and leverage AI‑powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot to improve delivery.
• Coordinate with external IT Operations suppliers and SAP within the Rise with SAP framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP integration experience, preferably in a regulated (GxP) environment.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, experience in international teams.
