Senior Full Stack Engineer – Node.js & React (Remote, Costa Rica)

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team in Costa Rica. You will work directly with US founders to architect, scale, and maintain a mission‑critical SaaS platform in the healthcare space.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable front‑end architectures using React.js and Next.js.
• Build robust back‑end services with Node.js (Express/NestJS) and GraphQL.
• Design complex PostgreSQL schemas, write advanced queries, and manage data modeling at scale.
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP (preferred) or AWS, using serverless patterns and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Ensure high code quality through comprehensive testing (Jest, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholder teams, providing technical guidance and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in in‑house SaaS product development.
• Strong ownership mindset with a track record of building products from the ground up.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) for direct communication with US stakeholders.
• Commitment to full‑time, exclusive employment (no freelancing or agency work).
