Senior Counsel, Regulatory Compliance

About the role

The Senior Counsel, Regulatory Compliance joins Emerson's Legal Department to provide expert legal guidance on product security and cybersecurity matters. You will work closely with business units worldwide to ensure compliance with evolving technology regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and regions to develop policies, processes, and training for product cybersecurity compliance.
• Monitor, analyze, and advise on global technology and cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards such as ISO and NIST.
• Provide counsel to Product Management and Engineering on cybersecurity risks throughout the product lifecycle, including vulnerability and incident management.
• Manage legal aspects of cybersecurity escalations and coordinate responses to data‑protection inquiries, regulatory requests, and customer questionnaires.
• Support implementation of corporate policies across divisions and strategic projects.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies, standards, and procedures.
• Communicate complex regulatory information clearly to diverse audiences.
