On‑site MEP Engineer – Santa Teresa

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic MEP Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team and support the construction of a luxury hospitality project in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. The position is fully on‑site and requires relocation to a local village within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to in‑house design, QS teams and external consultants throughout the design and construction phases.
• Review and evaluate Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing designs to ensure compliance with project‑specific requirements and luxury standards.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, interior designers and procurement to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into high‑end architectural layouts.
• Resolve technical issues promptly during design and construction to keep the project on schedule.
• Track design changes, variations and ensure adherence to corporate procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Management.
• Minimum 3 years of on‑site construction experience with Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing systems on high‑end residential or hospitality projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, standards and luxury‑grade system specifications.
• Excellent communication, presentation and English language skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑organized and punctual.
