Network Planner

About the role

Huntsman is looking for a Network Planner to support its Polyurethanes Division in Costa Rica. The role is responsible for planning, optimizing and coordinating the flow of finished goods across the chemical supply network, ensuring product availability while minimizing logistics costs and inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze demand, supply and inventory signals across multiple distribution centers to define stock flows and replenishment strategies.
• Create and manage stock transport orders to guarantee product availability throughout the network.
• Monitor inventory targets, safety stock levels, slow‑moving materials and network capacity constraints.
• Coordinate product transfers between production plants and distribution centers, partnering with transportation and warehouse teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as transportation delays, warehouse constraints or supply disruptions.
• Review and resolve exceptions related to forecasts, sales order conflicts, material availability and transfer issues.
• Escalate supply or production risks to Master Planners and support contingency planning.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Customer Service and Commercial teams to align network decisions with overall business demand.
• Provide network‑level insights for SIOP/S&OP cycles, focusing on inventory health, throughput and service risks.
• Maintain accurate planning master data (lead times, MOQs, safety stocks, replenishment parameters) and execute planning activities using ERP/MRP systems.
• Support reporting and KPI tracking such as OTIF, inventory health and plan adherence.

Required profile

• Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
• Willingness to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the AFZ office in Heredia, with additional office days as needed.

Required skills

• SAP (or equivalent ERP/MRP system) for network planning activities.
