IT Support Analyst – Day Shift

About the role

You will ensure Newmont employees have reliable access to the technology they need by delivering timely, professional first‑level IT support across global operations. The role combines remote and on‑site assistance to keep productivity high and the digital workplace running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot system access, workstations, and desktop applications.
• Set up, install, and configure computers, printers, and software in line with IT policies.
• Prepare IT equipment and grant system access for new hires.
• Manage tickets in the ServiceNow system, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
• Support GDC conference rooms, troubleshoot AV issues, and train users.
• Escalate complex problems to specialized global IT teams as needed.

Required profile

• Technical knowledge of IT hardware, Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with help‑desk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Wi‑Fi, VPN, and IP addressing.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• ITSM/ITIL knowledge or certification is a plus; Cisco AV hardware knowledge is desired.
