HR Systems Engineer – ServiceNow Automation

About the role

West Monroe is seeking an HR Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated workflows and integrations across its HR SaaS ecosystem, focusing on ServiceNow and related platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement process automations, workflows, and integrations using HR ServiceNow, Workday, PowerBI, and other tools.
• Configure, enhance, and support the HR ServiceNow platform, including implementation of ServiceNow Now Assist.
• Partner with IT Service Management leads to improve data quality, governance, and delivery practices.
• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead problem management activities, including issue resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the ServiceNow Managed Services Provider to troubleshoot and customize applications as needed.
• Plan and coordinate UAT, regression testing, and release validation.
• Proactively reduce technical debt and security vulnerabilities by leveraging platform‑native capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business management, or a related field.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team delivering HR technology solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret stakeholder requirements.
