Endpoint Engineer

About the role

World Vision International is seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer to maintain, monitor, and support its global IT systems and infrastructure. You will lead projects, guide Endpoint and Systems Administrators, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise computing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and support global IT systems, including servers, storage, and backup solutions.
• Lead multiple projects, providing technical guidance to Endpoint and Systems Administrators.
• Design, build, and optimize the operating environment for Windows, Linux, VMware, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage access controls, security applications, and system backups to ensure a secure, highly‑available environment.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and basic network issues; analyze failures and respond to incidents.
• Support 24/7 operations, lead disaster‑recovery efforts, and manage off‑site storage processes.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, patch management, and hot‑fix deployment.
• Collaborate with system users, technical teams, and vendors to provide expert support and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of hands‑on experience administering enterprise‑level servers and IT infrastructure.
• At least 5 + years designing, configuring, deploying, and optimizing server hardware and operating environments.
• 5‑7 years progressive experience focused on endpoint systems and enterprise computing platforms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer‑service orientation.
