About the role

The Director of Operations will lead the daily functioning of a luxury resort, ensuring all operational departments deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across all functional areas, including Rooms Division, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Spa/Wellness.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, Forbes, Leading Hotels, and other applicable quality benchmarks.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in processes, productivity, quality, and guest experience.
• Maintain operational consistency throughout the property.
• Facilitate seamless coordination and communication among all departments, working closely with division directors.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of senior‑level experience in luxury hotel operations.
• Previous role as Director of Operations, Rooms Division Director, or an equivalent senior position.
• Background in five‑star hotels, preferably luxury resorts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑development abilities.
• Exceptional guest‑centric focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in international, multicultural environments.
• High level of judgment, autonomy, and decision‑making capability.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
