Direct Tax Manager

About the role

The Direct Tax Manager will lead the organization’s tax function, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations while providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role combines hands‑on tax reporting with team leadership and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the direct tax reporting team, ensuring adherence to service delivery expectations.
• Review complex corporate tax filings and reports to confirm compliance with applicable regulations.
• Establish and maintain quality‑assurance processes to promote consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert technical support and resolve advanced or escalated tax‑related matters.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving processes and increasing automation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support client‑facing engagements.
• Track team performance, deliver mentorship, and foster professional growth.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry practices.
• Represent the team in strategic discussions and contribute to planning activities.
• Deliver tax‑related insights and strategic recommendations to support business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Over 5 years of experience in direct tax compliance.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
