About the role

The Data-Video Specialist role involves capturing precise motion data using smartphone IMU sensors and recording synchronized video footage. This remote contract position requires delivering high‑quality video data on a weekly basis to support a data‑driven project.

Key responsibilities

• Capture motion data with smartphone IMU sensors during defined physical activities.
• Record synchronized video footage to ensure data accuracy.
• Follow detailed technical protocols to meet quality, labeling, and determinism standards.
• Deliver at least 10 hours of approved video data each week for the project duration.
• Communicate proactively with the team to clarify requirements and share collection insights.
• Maintain timely delivery aligned with project milestones.

Required profile

• Access to a head strap that can record both hands within 48 hours of start.
• Compatible smartphone (iPhone 11 or later, Google Pixel 6 or later, Samsung Galaxy S21 or later).
• Meticulous attention to detail and proven adherence to standardized protocols.
• Ability to manage output consistently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and remote collaboration.
