Cost Accounting Lead

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Cost Accounting Lead to manage the full plant P&L for its Costa Rica facility. The role provides financial support to Finance and Operations leaders, drives financial objectives, and helps shape operational strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support Operations staff in annual budgeting, quarterly projections, and monthly actuals, focusing on material variances, labor, indirect expenses, inventory, and capital.
• Prepare, analyze, and report monthly and annual financial results to facility, division, and corporate management.
• Own the fixed and variable operating budget end‑to‑end for the plant.
• Conduct monthly balance‑sheet reviews and reconciliations.
• Assist teams with cost‑improvement initiatives, goal setting, and forecasting.
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with control procedures.
• Oversee annual physical inventory and drive operational improvements.
• Document critical financial information and maintain standardized finance processes.

Required profile

• Proven plant controlling experience.

• Relevant professional accounting background.
