Collections and Deductions Junior Analyst

About the role

Genpact is seeking a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented Junior Analyst to manage customer deductions within its North America region. The role focuses on identifying, documenting, and resolving deductions quickly while maintaining high accuracy in a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming deductions, classify them (logistics or commercial) and assign to the appropriate internal team.
• Communicate with customers via email to request documentation or repayment for invalid deductions.
• Gather, upload, and maintain supporting documents in the relevant systems for compliance.
• Match and offset approved credits against corresponding debits for accurate account reconciliation.
• Escalate complex or stuck deductions to internal partners (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) for rapid resolution.
• Create and maintain simple reports and pivot tables to track deduction status and aging.
• Produce concise, structured emails that explain deduction issues and resolution paths to stakeholders.
• Maintain a continuous flow of deductions, minimizing backlog and ensuring timely resolution.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high‑volume setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables).
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word.
