Back End Software Engineer (Python)

About the role

Blueflame AI, part of the Datasite family, is seeking Back End Software Engineers to build and enhance its AI-driven platform for the investment management and dealmaking industry. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, delivering reliable server‑side solutions that power client‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement server‑side logic and functionality for the Blueflame AI platform.
• Create, maintain, and optimise databases while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Develop and maintain APIs for communication between server, client applications, and third‑party services.
• Implement security measures, including encryption and authentication protocols, to protect data and applications.
• Collaborate closely with front‑end engineers to ensure seamless integration of back‑end services.
• Apply best practices to optimise platform performance and troubleshoot bugs.
• Document code, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing with Python.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with product, client success, and engineering teams.
