Auditor de Operaciones LATAM

About the role

The Internal Operations Auditor supports the audit and consulting process for GB's manufacturing sites across LATAM. The role helps evaluate and improve corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls by identifying improvement opportunities and delivering recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze process information to identify risk areas, performance issues, trends, and best practices.
• Document applicable regulations and design audit tests.
• Conduct interviews or workshops to map process flows, risks, and controls.
• Execute audit tests and apply analytical techniques as required.
• Discuss findings and recommendations with the Executive Auditor and audit client.
• Prepare audit reports and assist in final report revisions.
• Review and document action plans in the audit management system.
• Supervise and train Junior Auditors on internal audit methodology, analytics, and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal AI standards and methodology.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel outside Costa Rica up to 70% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Food, Chemical, Biochemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, etc.).
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, food safety, quality, packaging, supply chain, or related areas.
• Advanced English proficiency for meetings, interviews, and documentation.

Required skills

• Food Safety certifications (BRC, SQF, FSS22000).
• Lean certifications (Green Belt, Yellow Belt, Black Belt).
• Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification.
