Accounting & FP&A Professional

About the role

Edgewater Strategy Group is seeking an Accounting & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join its Costa Rica team in San José. This full‑time, on‑site position supports core accounting and financial planning functions, providing reporting, forecasting and analytical insights for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and month‑end close processes.
• Conduct financial analysis and variance reviews.
• Assist in developing budgeting and forecasting models.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support financial planning and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on finance and accounting initiatives.
• Contribute to client engagements and financial advisory projects.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with general ledger management and financial reporting tools is a plus.
